Here at Charles Day we have always been focused on quality. We understand the importance of providing our customers with laser cut parts and laser cutting services of the highest possible quality.
Many of our customers work to incredibly tight time schedules and cannot afford to receive poor quality parts or receive a service that is below what they are expecting.
Therefore, back in 2001 we became ISO9001 accredited and have held the accreditation ever since. We’re proud to be able to say that we have had a quality management system in place for longer than some of our competitors have even been in business!
What exactly does this mean for our customers, well according to the ISO.org website it is explained as:
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. These principles are explained in more detail in the pdf Quality Management Principles. Using ISO 9001:2008 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.
Our ISO9001 covers more than just laser cutting, it encompasses the full range of processes available, including flame cutting, waterjet cutting and plasma cutting.
